Hello!
We arrived to Ocean’s Edge, our base in Costa Rica, at 3am. After unloading our big packs from the bus we learned that there were two Gap Year teams sharing the base with us! Gap Year is a World Race program for 18-20 year-olds. Spending a month in Jaco with these 12 AMAZING men and women of God was such a blessing! We shared house space and heart space with each other!
On the first day, we were challenged to pour in and invest in relationships with Gap Year World Racers. They met us with delight! They are so full of wisdom and character!

We would WORSHIP together! Singing songs of praise, devotion, and celebration to God!
Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

PRAYER We prayed for each other and with each other! We had a sweet time of praying over our shared house, Ocean’s Edge. God hears our prayers and brought large amounts of peace to our hearts after our time of prayer and praise!

While sorting recycling, walking to the coffee shop, painting murals in the park, or sitting on the balcony, we would share STORIES from our lives! Sharing about the majesty, faithfulness, and wonderful works of our God!
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

Ladies Night! We hosted a Beauty for Ashes event for the women of the Gap Year teams. It was a sweet time as we explored our View of God, Forgiveness (choosing to let God be our Avenger), and Worship! 🙂 Meanwhile several of the men went out to complete crazy burger and milkshake challenges.
Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.
