Hello Friends and Family!
Written for Elementary Readers!
This post highlights some of my fellow World Racers who will be leaving on June 4, 2019! We will be traveling to 11 countries for 11 months sharing God’s hope and love, partnering with local communities in humanitarian work, and encouraging the local churches!
In December and January some new friends and I met each other on Facebook! It was a great time of encouraging each other! Here are some pictures and stories from our conversations! Please click on their names to read about their stories
Damien Ddog Howard lives in Tennessee! Damien was the first person I spoke with who is also going on the World Race! He works at a fire safety organization. Damien enjoys working out to be strong. He also is growing strong in the Lord and with other men at his church!
This is Damien’s dog Blaze!!!
Jamie Hart lives in Indiana! Jamie has an incredible story of joining the World Race! God spoke to her through nightly dreams through the month of June. Then in July she heard about the World Race! Jamie makes delicious candy and treats that she is selling to raise money for the World Race. YUM! She is also an EMT. If anyone gets hurt she will be able to help!
Kristin June lives in Michigan! Kristin teaches a kindergarten class. The class is so cute! Kristin also has a heart for helping lead girls and has mentored 18 girls for 5 years! Kristin is very tall! She is 6’1″ tall! Kristin is excited for this race! She would love to see how different countries teach school!
Cassandra Holbrook lives in Florida! Cassie is very active in her church and helps lead the women’s programs! I got to meet her parents on our phone call! Her family is very musical! We laughed, giggled, and shared many ideas for fundraising! Cassandra helped many members of the World Race connect together through a Group Me app!
Destiny Rentsch is from Illinois, used to live in Missouri, and recently moved to Marysville, Washington! Destiny and I are new friends!!! We are working together to fund raise and tell others about our missionary journey! We carried our back packs around New Life Church on Sunday! We met with many people and received prayer at Prayer for the Nations celebrations!
I am so grateful for these people! We will live life together on this journey to share the love of Jesus and help people!
