Hello Friends and Family!
Thank you for your continued care and questions about my missionary journey with the World Race!
COVID is still a rough reality. Traveling and being an unintentional carrier of this virus (in the US or internationally) is a personal concern. During this time of COVID, I’m praying and listening on how to live, speak, and walk out my faith. God is continuing to show opportunities to care for my community during this time!
My World Race squad recently received an email with various options to continue our World Race journeys!
We could choose to…
1. Launch in October – First ministering in the states then hopefully internationally in January.
2. Launch in January 2021 – Three routes were given as potential overseas options (Classic, Expedition, Unscripted). Borders opening and restrictions lifting still leave many questions!
3. Launch in August 2021
After praying, I’ve committed to the January 2021 Expedition route!
Border entry is hopeful but still unknown! The countries we are traveling to may include: Central America (starting in Guatemala), Europe (starting in Spain), Central Asia (starting in Kazakhstan), Southern Asia (starting in India) and Southeast Asia (starting in Thailand or Cambodia)
From these base countries, we would see what other borders or opportunities are available to continue sharing the hope of Christ in neighboring countries. Or we may invest greater time in the one specific country!
“Here’s a quick snippet about Expedition: If you have a heart for sharing the gospel to unreached people groups, Expedition is the route for you! You will spend some of your time in the 10-40 window, working, at times, with established ministry partners and, at other times, pioneering to find new ministry partners in the area you’re serving.”
The Expedition routes are more physically demanding, with an ability requirement of hiking 12-15 miles per day. Hiking destinations would be to villages and more rural parts of the country. I am glorifying the Lord that my body has healed enough to begin training for these thru hikes!
If borders are not open in January, the trip may be delayed to March 2021, or May, or August. God knows and we’ll see what happens!
I believe God is SO GOOD and faithful. I trust and know God’s kingdom will continue being revealed in any border and time frame.
Prayer Requests
- Wisdom for the World Race leaders as they make decisions with the host countries.
- COVID-19!
- Continued healing for my Grandma Linda! Her cancer treatment is going well!
- My personal body strengthening and endurance building. Exhaustion is present. However, step by step my body is becoming stronger!

You my friend have the anointing and Grace of God on you. I commend you for your relating to people so well, asking good questions, making others feel comfortable, passion to serve Jesus at whatever the cost, and so much love and calling for serving His Kingdom Purposes.
